About

How It Started
Fifth Sun began as a grassroots effort by a group of LAUSD alumni from South Central Los Angeles who wanted to create more opportunities for their community.
In 2014, the founding team began experimenting with entrepreneurship while still in high school — filming weddings, quinceañeras, and community events while learning the fundamentals of storytelling and digital media. What started as a small student venture eventually evolved into a broader mission: helping organizations communicate their stories and strengthen their digital infrastructure.
By 2019, that vision became Fifth Sun Pictures — a creative company focused on helping schools, nonprofits, and local businesses modernize their digital presence and reach their communities more effectively.
Today, Fifth Sun works across Los Angeles with clients ranging from public schools and government agencies to growing businesses and community organizations.

By combining professional marketing services with hands-on workforce development opportunities, Fifth Sun helps bridge the gap between industry and education.
